Short circuits will flow huge amounts of current instantly with the ability to melt metal.Do not expose to temperatures above 60oC (140oF). Avoid mounting this battery in the engine compartment if at all possible. Elevated temperatures accelerate the aging process of most battery types and lithium batteries are especially sensitive to high temperatures.
