After years of development, trial and error, and decades immersed in the car audio industry, the BMX Series from Sky High Car Audio has finally arrived—representing the culmination of everything we’ve learned from competing, building, and manufacturing elite-level subwoofers. With deep roots in the basshead community and ownership in some of the most respected brands in the game, we’ve poured all our knowledge into the design and execution of what we believe is a true game-changer. The all-new BMX Series isn’t just a subwoofer—it’s the next evolution in high-performance bass.

Each BMX subwoofer is built around performance-first engineering, with power ratings and motor structures carefully matched to cone size for maximum output and thermal reliability. Whether you’re pushing a pair of 6.5s in tight door pods or building a pressure wall of 10s, the BMX lineup delivers consistent, clean low-end across the board.

The BMX Series 6.5” is small in size but huge in output—featuring a 15mm Xmax, 500W RMS musical rating, 2” high temp voice coil, and a double-stacked Y35 ferrite motor that powers this compact sub with authority. A shallow mounting depth keeps it flexible for tight installs, while a 5.5” progressive spider and 10-gauge direct leads ensure long-term durability and current delivery under heavy load.

Step up to the BMX Series 8”, and you’ll find increased mechanical stroke with a 17mm Xmax and a boosted 600W RMS power rating set through a 2.5” high temp voice coil. Like its smaller sibling, it features a double-stacked Y35 motor, 6.5” progressive spider suspension, and 10-gauge direct leads, all while maintaining a compact profile that fits into even the most space-conscious builds.

The BMX Series 10” is our largest and most powerful 10” offering to date. With a 30mm Xmax and an aggressive 2000W RMS rating, it shares the same 3” 8 layer high-temp voice coil and triple-stacked 220mm Y35 ferrite motor as its 12–18” big brothers. It retains the aluminum pole cap. An 8.8” progressive spider pack and oversized push terminals give this sub both authority and longevity in demanding systems.

Each BMX subwoofer is wrapped in the same clean, all-black aesthetic and includes signature Sky High touches like a tooled SHCA magnet boot, carbon fiber dust cap with recessed cone tooling, fiberglass cone support, and precision-molded foam surround. Designed for low FS and high BL, these subs aren’t one-note wonders—they’re built to perform across the full range of audible bass frequencies with authority.

We’ll be offering FREE box designs—including ported, 4th order, and 6th order options where applicable—tailored specifically for our subwoofers to ensure maximum performance and reliability. Every SHCA subwoofer is tested using DATS-LA, measured with the backplate off the surface after full break-in, ensuring accurate and trustworthy TS data.
