The FXB Series from Sky High Car Audio is built to bring real bass power to real-world budgets. Designed with the same engineering principles that drive our higher-tier subwoofer lines, the FXB Series gives customers an entry point into high-performance audioâwithout sacrificing motor strength, coil durability, or suspension control. Whether youâre building a street banger or your first demo setup, FXB delivers the balance of performance and value that Sky High is known for.Â
The FXB 12â, 15â, and 18â models are built around a rugged double-stacked ferrite motor structure, providing strong magnetic control and reliability under heavy load. Each size features a durable 3â 4-layer high-temp voice coil, designed to handle serious daily abuse with confidence. Rated to handle 1500W RMS, these subs were made to be pushed without hesitation.Â
FXB 12-18â models utilize a full-size 10â progressive spider pack resulting in 30mm xmax and consistent mechanical control and long-term suspension reliability. Paired with a hardened paper cone, and foam surround, the FXB series maintains accuracy and output at high excursion. The basket is cast aluminum, offering rigidity and strength without unnecessary cost, and push terminals make installation clean and secureâeven with heavy gauge wiring.
