The FXB Series from Sky High Car Audio is built to bring real bass power to real-world budgets. Designed with the same engineering principles that drive our higher-tier subwoofer lines, the FXB Series gives customers an entry point into high-performance audio—without sacrificing motor strength, coil durability, or suspension control. Whether you’re building a street banger or your first demo setup, FXB delivers the balance of performance and value that Sky High is known for.
The FXB 12”, 15”, and 18” models are built around a rugged double-stacked ferrite motor structure, providing strong magnetic control and reliability under heavy load. Each size features a durable 3” 4-layer high-temp voice coil, designed to handle serious daily abuse with confidence. Rated to handle 1500W RMS, these subs were made to be pushed without hesitation.
FXB 12-18” models utilize a full-size 10” progressive spider pack resulting in 30mm xmax and consistent mechanical control and long-term suspension reliability. Paired with a hardened paper cone, and foam surround, the FXB series maintains accuracy and output at high excursion. The basket is cast aluminum, offering rigidity and strength without unnecessary cost, and push terminals make installation clean and secure—even with heavy gauge wiring.
Every FXB subwoofer carries the Sky High Car Audio design language—blacked-out aesthetic, tooling for strength, and real-world durability. These aren’t stripped-down entry-level drivers—they’re the result of smart material choices and years of design refinement to bring maximum value to everyday builds.

We’ll be offering FREE box designs—including ported, 4th order, and 6th order options where applicable—tailored specifically for our subwoofers to ensure maximum performance and reliability. As a bonus, any customer who purchases 4 or more BMX, FMX, or FXXL series subwoofers directly from Sky High Car Audio will receive a $50 credit toward a custom enclosure design from EZ DB’s, giving you a serious head start on a professionally designed, competition-ready subwoofer enclosure. Every SHCA subwoofer is tested using DATS-LA, measured with the backplate off the surface after full break-in, ensuring accurate and trustworthy TS data.
